COMMUNITY NOTICE - FRAUD and IMPERSONATION ALERT
Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) and Afro Carib Fest would like to inform the community of recent online fraud and business impersonation involving our 15th annual Afro Carib Fest event.
We have discovered a fraudulent Jotforms and Facebook event pages impersonating our organization and requesting vendor payments from the public. Members of the public have already reported being defrauded as they sent money to the fake email.
*Note there may be other fake emails and jotforms impersonating Afro Carib Fest.
The impersonators have unlawfully copied and used our event flyer, organization name, branding, and vendor information to mislead individuals into believing they are dealing with the official Afro-Carib Fest event. We have informed the relevant authorities,
