About Afro Carib Fest ( ACF)
Afro Carib Fest is an award-winning event that celebrates the diversity of African and Caribbean cultures through music, arts, dance, food and culture. The festival started in 2012 with a goal of bridging social, cultural and economic gaps, promoting community and economic development, providing opportunities for local and emerging artists, local businesses and fostering networking opportunities among diverse groups. The goal of ACF is to foster civic pride, bridge cultural gaps, engage audiences and build a vibrant community.
Afro Carib Fest is the first of its kind that merges the African and Caribbean cultures together in celebration of our heritage. The theme of the event is “celebrating our diversity”. The event will engage audiences with live musical performances and fun filled, interactive activities, while appreciating the richness of the cultural fabric that strengthens our communities. ACF is one of the fastest growing and most exciting festivals in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and welcomes attendees from across Ontario, Canada and internationally. The event is funded by the Government of Ontario and Toronto Arts Foundation.
In 2022, ACF will take place LIVE at Thomson Memorial Park in Scarborough. Join us for Live music, entertainment, vendors, cultural arts and crafts, food trucks, cultural parade and so much more! The event is Free and there will also be Free Parking!
